Hello guys, I have planned for my son's birthday celebration as a feed for the less fortunate In 2023! I would love some help finding a trust-worthy charity NGO to donate food in India to Slum Children/ Feeding the Homeless or people that live in shelters in India. I'd prefer that these meals be healthy and get to the people who really need it. Has anyone had a good experience working with Akshaya Patra, Feeding India and/or other organizations? Please let me know if you have suggestions of local organizations I should look into.

With the many active non-profit organizations, it’s nearly impossible to create a final Top 10 NGO in India. Several prominent NGOs have maintained high standards over many years with geographic diversity including Goonj, Smile Foundation, HelpAge India. My opinion is that field operations effectiveness and financial accountability should be the criteria for consideration as opposed to the size and public recognition of the organization. I would like to know what organizations you would place on this list, based on recent rural development work completed by those organizations.
Charity For Education provides the greatest value back to society than any other charity. Donating to educational charity has a more profound and lasting impact on breaking the cycle of poverty than supporting recovery efforts to immediate disaster sites. When you assist a child with their educational needs, you are not only helping them today, but you are empowering them with the skills and knowledge to find meaningful employment and provide for their family's needs in the future. In addition, by promoting education as an effective means of addressing the root cause of other social issues such as healthcare and unemployment, you will be creating a sustainable solution to many other issues facing our society today.
Hi everyone I just got my very first job and I want to give some money away now to a charitable organization. Can anyone suggest the top 10 NGO in India that are doing great work? I've read a lot of articles about this but I value what people have actually done. Which NGOs have provided you with good experiences? Are the finances managed appropriately? I would be interested in supporting both children and environmental causes. Lastly, would the NGO provide you with periodic updates about their projects? My goal is to make sure that my money is given to legitimate organisations. Thank you for any recommendations and personal experiences.
