Posted in the topic Why does my deep wave weave look amazing on day one and chaotic by day three? in the forum News and Announcements
    May 26, 2026 1:43 AM PDT

I had almost the same problem with the deep wave weave I had and I honestly thought I was doing something wrong altogether. It turns out, deep wave hair needs a little more care to maintain good, defined curls.I also learned that brushing your hair the same way you would with straight hair is playing a waiting game for a disaster to happen. Instead, work your fingers or a wide tooth comb through your hair in the shower while it is still wet. This will also help maintain the wave pattern of your hair instead of turning your curls into a fluffy question mark. The second thing I went really overboard on is how important moisture was. I keep a spray bottle with moisture in it and spray it lightly on the curls, and it helps to keep the frizz down without making the weave feel overwhelming.I slapping and smooshing it after, and it brings back the curls. Another one? Sleeping.Cotton pillow cases, and crazy sleeping positions can make even the most deep-wave weave look like a hurricane went through it overnight. A satin bonnet or silk pillowcase can really help with this also. In addition, do not make it too whole with thick oils or too with products.. Too much product can weigh the waves down and make everything look stiff instead of natural.
Basically, if your weave starts acting dramatic after a few days, it’s probably not ruined—it just needs a quick refresh routine. Deep wave hair can look amazing, but sometimes it definitely behaves like it has a personality of its own

Posted in the topic Has anyone tried a 613 closure wig for everyday wear? in the forum News and Announcements
    May 22, 2026 2:32 AM PDT

I started wearing a 613 closure wig a few months ago, so I can share a bit from my experience. If you’re new to blonde wigs, a 613 shade is that bright platinum blonde color, and a closure wig usually gives a more beginner-friendly install compared to full lace options.

For everyday wear, it can definitely look natural, but a lot depends on how you style it. Since 613 hair is very light in color, keeping the roots blended or slightly toned can help it look less “wiggy.” I’ve noticed that choosing a style that suits your face shape also makes a big difference.

As for maintenance, it does take a little extra care.

One thing I like about closure wigs is that they’re usually easier to manage if you don’t want to deal with complicated installs or a lot of glue. They’re also great if you want to experiment with bold blonde hair without bleaching your natural hair.

Overall, if you enjoy lighter hair colors and don’t mind a little upkeep, a 613 closure wig can be a fun and stylish option for daily wear.

Posted in the topic Is a 613 lace wig secretly the “main character” of bad hair days, or am I being dramatic? in the forum News and Announcements
    May 21, 2026 5:28 AM PDT

Okay, serious question with a slightly dramatic title  — but I recently tried a 613 lace wig, and now I’m wondering if I’ve been making life harder for myself this whole time.

I always thought platinum blonde wigs looked super high-maintenance or too bold for everyday wear. But after seeing people style them in soft curls, sleek straight looks, and even toned-down shades, I got curious. What surprised me most is how versatile a 613 lace wig can be. Since the hair is usually a light blonde base, some people tone it, dye it pastel, or even go for brighter colors without needing heavy bleaching.

One thing I learned the hard way: lace quality matters. A good lace can blend naturally and make the hairline look more realistic, while poor lace can look obvious no matter how nice the hair is. If you’re new to wigs, it also helps to look for beginner-friendly features like adjustable straps or pre-plucked hairlines.

Maintenance is another thing people don’t always mention.

Posted in the topic Is my deep wave weave secretly plotting against humidity… or am I just losing this battle? 😂 in the forum News and Announcements
    May 19, 2026 5:40 AM PDT

You are definitely not alone in this struggle! A deep wave weave can look absolutely gorgeous one minute and then suddenly decide to do its own thing the second humidity enters the chat. The good news is that it usually comes down to maintenance rather than the hair itself “betraying” you.

First, hydration matters. Deep wave textures need moisture to keep those curls defined and soft. Try using a lightweight leave-in conditioner or curl mousse instead of heavy oils that can weigh the waves down. Too much product can actually make the weave look tangled or frizzy faster.

Another tip is nighttime care. If you’re sleeping without wrapping your hair or using a satin bonnet or pillowcase, your deep wave pattern may get messy overnight. Sulfate-rich shampoos tend to roughen your hair fibres. So, using a gentle shampoo and conditioning afterwards are good ways to keep the waves tender. Besides that, finger detangling or combing the hair with a wide-tooth comb while wet really can be a game changer. You could also wrap your hair with a satin scarf at night or sleep on a satin pillowcase. This will help the hair retain its curl pattern and cut down on tangles. I once skipped this step and got the look of having battled a cloud when I woke up.Yes, frizz or changes in texture can occur. But, if you use the right care routine, your closure will revive and continue to look natural.Deep wave textures tend to respond best to gentle detangling and sulfate-free shampoos. After washing, scrunch the curls while drying instead of rubbing with a towel.

Basically, your deep wave weave is not plotting against you—it just has a dramatic personality and needs a little extra care on humid days

Posted in the topic Did my deep wave frontal just survive humidity better than my situationship? in the forum News and Announcements
    May 15, 2026 6:28 AM PDT

Honestly, your deep wave frontal might be handling commitment better than the situationship  — but frizz and dryness are pretty normal if it’s not getting enough moisture.

Deep wave textures naturally need more care because the curls can dry out faster than straight hair. The good news? You don’t need a full salon routine to keep it looking good.

First, try using a spray bottle with water and a little leave-in conditioner. Lightly mist the hair in the morning and gently finger-comb it instead of brushing. A wide-tooth comb works if you really need one, but brushing dry curls is basically asking for a puff-ball surprise.

Second, use a lightweight curl mousse or curl cream sparingly. Too much product can make the curls stiff or greasy, and nobody wants hair that looks like it lost a fight with cooking oil.

At night, wrap your frontal with a satin scarf or sleep on a satin pillowcase. Cotton pillowcases are sneaky little curl thieves.

Also, avoid over-washing. Washing too often can strip moisture and make the waves look tired. Usually, refreshing the curls with water works better than shampooing every few days.

With a little moisture and gentle handling, your deep wave frontal should stay soft, defined, and selfie-ready.
