I’m sharing a complete guide on wavlink ac1200 repeater setup for anyone who is facing WiFi dead zone issues at home or office.
The Wavlink AC1200 is a dual-band WiFi range extender that helps boost your existing wireless network and improve coverage in weak signal areas. The setup process is simple and can be completed using WPS or the web interface.
Plug the AC1200 repeater into a power outlet near your router.
Press the WPS button on your router.
Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the extender.
Wait until the LED light becomes stable, indicating a successful connection.
This method automatically connects the repeater to your main WiFi network.
Plug in the extender and connect your device to its default WiFi network.
Open a browser and go to wifi.wavlink.com or 192.168.10.1.
Log in using default credentials (usually admin/admin).
Select Repeater Mode.
Choose your existing WiFi network and enter the password.
Save settings and wait for the device to reboot.
After setup, move the repeater to a midpoint location between your router and the weak signal area for the best performance.
