JILIBet traces its roots to the Philippines’ efforts to curb illegal cassinos under President Ferdinand Marcos, with PAGCOR established as a government-run corporation to regulate and operate cassinos nationwide and later restructured under President Corazon Aquino to help generate public funds. In 2023, PAGCOR commissioned Printplus Graphic Services-led by designer Francisco D. Doplon of ArtOne Design-to create a new official logo, continuing the agency’s modernization.
