our mining fleet supervisor suggested upgrading our haulage vehicles to improve underground power transfer.

He insists that switching to custom torque hub solutions will eliminate wheel slippage on wet inclines and reduce axle wear.

However, a few senior mechanics argue that stick-shift direct drives are easier to fix when problems happen in remote shafts.

I am trying to figure out if these compact planetary systems truly handle heavy continuous loads without overheating or needing constant overhaul.
