I’ve been stuck on this for a bit, so I thought I’d ask here. Has anyone else noticed that getting clicks is easy, but conversions just don’t happen the way you expect?
When I started with Adult PPC Advertising, I focused mostly on traffic. And to be fair, I did get a lot of it. The problem was, most of that traffic didn’t really do anything. No signups, no real engagement. It felt like I was paying for numbers that didn’t mean much.
At first, I thought maybe it was the offer. So I tested a couple of different ones. Some performed slightly better, but nothing major changed. Then I looked at my landing pages. That’s where things started to make more sense. My ads were kind of bold and attention grabbing, but the landing page didn’t carry the same energy. It felt disconnected.
I also realized my targeting was too wide. I assumed casting a bigger net would help, but it actually brought in a lot of low intent users. Once I narrowed things down and adjusted the messaging to match a specific audience, I saw a small but noticeable improvement.
Another thing I tried was simplifying the page. Less clutter, clearer call to action. That seemed to help more than I expected. People don’t spend much time thinking, so making things obvious made a difference.
I’m still testing things, but now I feel like conversions depend more on alignment than just traffic volume. Everything has to feel like it fits together.
