Windscreen Repair Resin – Does It Really Work?

    Hey everyone,

I’ve been looking into windscreen repair resin for fixing small chips and cracks, and I’m curious about real experiences.

From what I understand, good-quality resin (like the ones used by Ultra Bond) is designed to flow deep into the damage, remove trapped air, and bond the glass once cured with UV light. It’s supposed to improve clarity and stop cracks from spreading, which sounds great compared to replacing the whole windshield.

    But I’m wondering:
👉 Does it actually last long-term?
👉 Is there a big difference between cheap resin and professional-grade resin?

Would love to hear your thoughts or any tips before I try it
