Hi everyone,
I recently started a job in IT security, and I’m currently setting up a new automated scanning system for our office network.
To see how the system handles unreadable data, I need to create corrupted file samples that look like real PDFs but contain scrambled code.
I’m doing this to ensure our backup servers don't get clogged with useless junk during a real system failure. Does anyone know a safe script or a simple method to create corrupted file?
Thanks in advance.
