I’m planning a visit soon and trying to decide which rides are absolute must-do experiences. I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about Colossus, especially since it’s known for having a world record number of inversions.

Some people say it’s an intense thrill ride with incredible loops, while others mention it can feel a bit rough. For anyone who’s ridden it recently, how does it compare to the park’s other major coasters in terms of excitement, comfort, and overall ride experience?

Would you recommend it as a top priority, or are there smoother options?

Colossus is definitely worth riding once, especially if you’re a thrill seeker. The 10 inversions make it unique and visually impressive, and sitting near the front usually gives a smoother ride. That said, it can feel rough and a bit cramped compared to newer coasters at the park. If you’re after comfort and smoother experiences, The Swarm and Nemesis Inferno are usually better choices. I’d say make Colossus a mid-priority: do it for the record-breaking loops and history, but don’t expect it to be the smoothest ride in the park.
