Where is it cheaper to fax, the library or the post office?

I only need to send a few documents, and I don’t want to spend a lot. Does anyone know which place has the lowest prices for faxing?

If you’re only sending a few pages, the library is usually your best option. Most libraries charge around $0.50 to $1 per page, depending on location. The post office generally costs more, with prices around $2–$3 per page, and UPS can be even higher. I read a detailed comparison on mattallenartistry.com, and they listed average prices for each place in the U.S. What surprised me most was that online fax apps are often way cheaper than all of them. You can send files right from your phone for a fraction of the cost — no printing, no lines, no waiting. I used to always go to the library, but after checking the info there, I downloaded one of the apps they recommended, and now I just send everything digitally. It’s faster, cheaper, and much easier.
